Always heard guys talk how “mil spec is the best, you don’t need anything more than that”. I’ve put well over 1,000 rounds through mil spec, and putting this trigger replacement in is night and day. Solid wall, no mush, breaks like glass. 200 rounds in, no issues. Very happy. Will update if anything changes. On sale for $90, I’d buy again in a heartbeat.

Ordered to replace the stock psa trigger and wow the difference is huge. I’m a 1911 trigger snob and this Is pretty much the equivalent for an ar. Money well spent. The break is so clean my brother who’s a retired army ranger jumped when I brought it downstairs and told him to pull the trigger. He was amazed.

I bought two of these triggers. One for a Mega Arms 308 AR build and another for a Christensen Arms CA-15 in 556. The first one in the 308 was great. Light and crisp with no take up. The second one in the 556 had a bit of a click and heavy spot at the very start of travel. I had it for quite a while before I used it so I had to go back directly to CMC to see if they could make it right. They had me send it back and in a few days I had it back in my rifle working perfectly. The customer service was outstanding. Therefore I’m going to still give them 5 stars regardless of the little hiccup because they took care of the issue so quickly and professionally. I will be using CMC triggers in future builds.

I have been building AR’s with the CMC 3.5lb triggers for years, and have never had any issues.
Recently, I rebuild my long range AR15, and utilized the 2.5lb trigger.
I cannot say enough good things about this trigger. The trigger pull breaks like glass with a crisp “SNAP”!
